Off to Tyler!

The past two weeks have been nuts, so we got back and things have been wild and I'm just now getting to all of our recent events.
Jon, Hensley and I all piled in the car and drove to Aunt Mimi and Uncle Bryan's house for the weekend so we could see my dad. It was his first time seeing his grandbaby, so he flew out from Alabama so he could meet her and see Emerson again. It is crazy to think that the last time he saw Emmy she was only a few months older than Hensley! She is a walking, talking machine now!!
We had lots of family time and had a blast putting the kids together. It warms my heart that Hensley would see Emmy and smile, and Emerson kept wanting to have Hensley sit in her lap or right next to her. So cute! She liked to point out all of baby Hensley's body parts (very sweet up until she wanted to poke her in the eyeballs!) and was ready for her to move much more than the kid actually does at this stage in her life. I am so happy that our babies are so close in age and will have many play times in the future!

She got lots of snuggles and kisses from Papa

Having giggle time with Aunt Mimi
Bath time with the girls! Emerson was so sweet and wanted to play so much with Hensley in the water!

What a fabulous weekend with the family!

On a completely unrelated note, I realized that I did not post the pictures with Hensley meeting Uncle Bryan for the first time. He had the magic touch with her and she slept for over two hours on him! If he could only come over every day so my non-napper could rest up on him, that would be nice. Sorry these are painfully late being posted, but it meant so much that he took the time out of his crazy schedule to see her.
