Easter Eggs and Bunnies

Wow. It seems like Easter was SO long ago, but in this blur of motherhood, it also seems like yesterday. We had the absolute pleasure to spend Easter weekend with my mom (Mia) and went to Southeast Church of Christ to do Hensley's first Easter egg hunt! We had practiced picking up eggs, but we weren't sure how hunting with other children running around would go. Turns out, our little girl is a fierce hunter and she got more eggs than we thought she would! Between Hensley and Daddy, the two of them were on a mission to rid the church of all eggs filled with yummy treats made just for little ones!

 She took a little break to munch on some eggs- notice how she hoards the eggs in her right hand! Ha!

 Not at all afraid of the Easter bunny!!

 Whew! All of that hunting and walking was exhausting!!!

We are so thankful to Southeast and all of their organization and generosity to make such a special holiday for our family, and to our beloved Mia for making it even more fun with sweet giggles and hugs!
