Labor and Delivery

After 12 hours, we finally got our baby girl! Everything went well and mommy and daddy are excited to share some pictures of Hensley's birthday.

 We had a lot of time on our hands. Notice how Jon used the "breast friend" to kill time! :)

Hensley is HERE!

She's finally here!!! Hensley Rae Roberts was born last night at 6:55 pm. She is a healthy 8 lb 15 oz, and measures 20 1/2 inches! Mommy, Daddy and baby are doing very well and hope to return home tomorrow.  Below are a couple of pictures of the beautiful baby with her loving parents!

38 Week Appointment

This is her profile for 38 weeks. We were checking on her weight since big babies run on the Roberts side (Grammy is such a champ!) and found out that she was around 7 pounds and 14 ounces as of April 11, so she is a healthy little girl. Now all we need to find out is if she is going to want to join the world or try to stay inside my belly and chill like she has for the past 9 1/2 months!

3-D Ultrasound

While family was in town for our shower weekend, Jon scheduled a 3-D Ultrasound so we could all get a peek at her. She cooperated for a while until she decided she was over the picture thing (just like mom!) and turned away. We were still lucky enough to get some good shots of those adorably plump cheeks- HA!

Hensley's Nursery

It's not quite finished, but we wanted to share some pictures of her sweet room!

 Her amazing bedding was handmade by her Mia- GORGEOUS!!

 Jon wants to use all the diapers from her diaper cake, but Aunt Mimi made it and mommy will probably never tear it apart since it is painfully cute!

 Nana's pink roses painting is one of my favorites and I know Hensley will love it too!

Her closet is ridiculously full! This picture does not do justice to the amount of sassy outfits and accesories she now owns. Thank you family!!
